Founder and Director
Heathir has been practicing yoga for almost twenty years and teaching for eight years.
Heathir enjoys crafting intelligent sequences and her classes are challenging, fluid, tonic and fun. She teaches Prana Soma Vinyasa, which was developped with lovers of Ashtanga Yoga and Iyengar Yoga in mind and pulls strongly from the teachings of Krishnamacharya. She is also greatly inspired by life-affirming Tantric philosophies. In addition to teaching, she coaches new yoga teachers in an effort to help them develop their teaching skills and the self-confidence that comes from knowing you are being true to yourself while teaching.
Having enjoyed athletic activity her whole life, Heathir continues to dance and run almost everyday. In fact, her yoga teaching and practice are greatly inspired by these activites and can be considered complimentary, even though they are also great when practiced alone, especially if practiced daily. She live in Aix-en-Provence with Sébastien and their two children (whom also serve as great yoginspiration, on and off the mat). Expecting her third child, she is withdrawing from teaching in this scholar year 2015-2016.
